The next walk will be on Saturday 26th Sept. to Calderglen Country Park, East Kilbride.  Circular route, just under 2.5 miles, on undulating paths with some sets of steps and a couple of very short but steeper sections.  Suitable footwear recommended as not all of the route is well surfaced.  Route follows a wooded gorge, riverside path and woodland.  Various options to shorten.

 

The park features a zoo and tropical conservatory, ornamental gardens, and a courtyard café, so alternative activities if anyone would prefer an outing and meet up with the walkers for coffee.

 

Travel by car.  Please let Sarah Hamilton know if you are willing to be a driver, and also if you plan to attend (no firm commitment) so we can be sure we have enough car spaces for all.  Meet at the church at 10am as usual, all welcome.
