Our August adventure saw a bumper group of 19, head out to view the lanes of the West End (part 1).  Led by Shaun Digges, this quite astonishing walk took us to many hidden gems in the less well trodden back lanes of Kelvinside, Kirklee, Hyndland and Partickhill which most of the group hadn’t visited before (or even knew of their existence!), Kirklee Terrace Lanes was certainly a stand out and well worth seeking out!

It was lovely to have some new faces join us,  including two members of the International Welcome Club from our cluster partners at Wellington Church.  We’re always delighted to have new people joining in, whether that’s friends or family, members of our cluster partners or from the local community.  All are welcome and no regular commitment required.

 

The next walk will be on Saturday 21st September, using the newly opened Partick-Govan footbridge over the Clyde then exploring the Govan area.  Further details to follow.
